I’m working on a post about professional association involvement, but honestly I got sidetracked by some other projects, including the LITA Forum. And the post is taking forever, because, seriously, it turns out that people had a lot to say. I think it’s going to be several posts, over the course of a week, rather than one gargantuan post.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I had a great time and learned a lot at the LITA Forum! I also gave my first solo national-level talk there, and I think it went fairly well—people discussed during the discussion period (20 of the 50 minutes), and there were questions and requests for documents afterward. And tweets! It wasn’t perfect; I forgot to say some things I had wanted to say; but, overall, I feel good about it.<\/p>\n

There’s some doubt about whether I really will, so, if you’ve got questions (“What was the point of the guinea pigs slide?”) or want to push me to actually create said notes, hit me up with a comment. :) <\/p>\n Also!<\/strong> We’re finally going to move forward on forming a LITA User Experience Interest Group<\/strong>, which we hope will join forces with the RUSA UX Committee (or some other UX structure in RUSA).
